Bonjour, Furinkan! (ボンジュールでございます, Bonjūru de Gozaimasu?) is the 87th episode of Ranma ½ Nettohen, and the 105th episode of the 1989 Ranma ½ anime overall.

Upon returning home, Akane, Nabiki and Kasumi confronted their father Soun, who revealed that back during his and Genma's training of the Anything Goes 20 years ago, they spent the last few days without eating until they discovered a restaurant that was also a Dojo, who owner revealed that if they can out eat him, then their meals are free but because of Picolet I beat them, Soun and Genma revealed they don't have any money but vow to pay him back and Picolet I made them a deal; In exchange for not paying him , they must give up one of their future daughters as a bride for his future son. While Genma is safe since Ranma is a guy, Soun became sad because he never thought he would father three daughters and no sons. He then told them that one of them must go to the school for bride training and Ranma (in female form) goes.
After Akane and Soun life, Ranma is laced tightly into a locked Iron Corset, which according to Madame St. Paul, will remain until Ranma act like a proper woman and that she will keep the key until that happens. Ranma also is wearing very elegant white bridal lingerie consisting of a garter belt, stockings, and a beautiful pair of bikini panties. Knowing Ranma and his masculine martial arts nature might mean female Ranma might have wear the Iron Corset forever. During of what seems to be a fancy dinner party, Ranma and Picolet and upon seeing the food, Ranma tried to eat, only to see that all of the guest (who are revealed to have the same long tongue and large mouth that Picolet showed them earlier) are snatching the food too. Upon realzing what it's really about, she then manages to grab hold with a piece of food with her hand and tried to eat it, only for Madame to hit her with a pan as it was revealed that in battle dinner, no one use their hands to grab food.
Back in the Tendo house, As the Tendo family and Genma are eating, Nabiki thinks that Ranma got a good deal as she gets to eat French meals while they eat their rice and fish. Back with Ranma, who is in bed but with her stomach growling as it seems that she hasn't eaten anything at the party and remembered what Madame said earlier. Ranma then remembered what Akane gave her and ate it, thinking it to be candy as she found it so good. Unbeknownst to Ranma, it was revealed that the candy that Akane gave her wasn't candy but rather a type of digestion pill that would help her digestion the food quickly, but because she didn't eat anything, she's now hungrier than before.
Ranma is then seen her training wearing just her Iron Corset, panties, and stockings. She also is made was walk on a rope with metal sandals with her arms shackled to a ball and chain keeping her restrained. Ranma must balance a plate of food on her head where she must learn to eat without using her hands but rather her tongue, while Picolet (who had food on his plate) is shown to be sad as it seems that a week has gone by and Ranma hasn't eaten anything due to the rules of battle dinning. Upon seeing Picolet doing the same thing that she could, Ranma kicked Picolet, only to be hit on the head with a frying pan for punishment, she doesn't get dinner tonight.
Later in her room, Ranma encountered Akane, who is revealed to have gotten a job as a maid (by her father since this was his fault Ranma was in this mess) and convinced her to quit and even gives her food. However, Ranma refuse as a Martial Artist, eating food that isn't battle dinning with make her less of a fighter.
Later that night, Ranma (whose stomach is keeping her from sleeping) caused her to half-sleepwalk to the kitchen due to not eating and tried to get something in the fridge but as she did it, a giant block of ice appeared, revealing it to be Genma (in Panda form) where Ranma took him to the hot springs and use the hot water to free him. Wondering why he is here, Genma said he came to look after Ranma until she learns battle dinning, However Akane arrives and said that him being here isn't just for the food and Genma explains that if Ranma does marry Picolet, he will get all the French food he can eat for life, which caused Ranma to hit him, knowing that all he cares about is the food.
Not wanting to marry Picolet and not wanting to starve to death, Ranma decides to show Picolet who she really is by changing back into a guy, but upon changing back, Ranma started to gasp in pain as Akane splash him with cold water and changed him back into his female form. Realizing that because of the Iron Corset, Ranma can't change back into a guy because of the tightness of the corset and due to not having the key for it.
Back at the Tendo home, Soun and the Tendo sister search for anything about battle dining from their grandfather's belongings (which were stolen due to him learning the anything goes school style) until they found a book that contain the origin of Battle Dining. Upon reading it and seeing that most of the user of this martial art style all have big and wide mouths, they found one group who faces look normal and learn that have developed a move called "Parlay du Foie Gras", unfortunately the page for learning how to do it has been ripped off, so Ranma tried to ask Picolet what is the Parlay du Foie Gras while walking with him at night. When upon hearing that, Picolet became scared (with his jaw completely opened) then tried to cover his fear by pretending that he never heard of it but when Ranma wanted to go home, he explains that this move is base on Pate Foie gras or Duck Liver.
Back in her room, Akane, Soun and Genma all tried Pate Foie gras and found it good but Ranma tried to figure out what is Parlay du Foie Gras. Meanwhile when Picolet told Madame that Ranma knew about the move, she scream in terror as she wondered how she knows about it and not wanting to know what it is, they decide to update the wedding from years from now to one week.

- In the manga, when Akane offered the bread to Ranma, she pressured her into taking it of which she actually accepted it, only for Picolet to pop up and eat it himself, prompting Ranma to kick him out. Here she refuses it and leaves the room, Picolet does not appear, and it simply cuts to the nighttime scene.
- When Soun tells Ranma that he's now working as a maid, his skin is far lighter in tone in comparison to his often depicted rustic shade.
- This is the first episode were Elaina Wotten-Costain voices Nabiki Tendo. She fills in for her sister Angela Costain for the remainder of this season and all of season six. Angela will return to the role in season seven.
