- In the dub, when Nabiki sees Ranma leave the kitchen, she refers to Ranma as "her" despite most characters using male pronouns while addressing him, even when in female form.
- Some Maison Ikkoku music is used when Sasuke begins telling his account of what happened in the kitchen.
- Sasuke finds out that Ranma and the "pigtailed girl" are one in the same, but apparently decides not to tell the Kunos, as they are still unaware in future episodes.
