The One to Carry On Part One (道を継ぐ者・前編, Michi o Tsugu Mono – Zenpen^?), also listed by Viz Media as Akane And Her Sisters, is the fifth Ranma ½ OVA. It's the second OVA to not adapt a manga storyline.

Summary

Following a string of food thefts, Akane heads out to find the culprits when she runs into the sisters Natsume and Kurumi who soon follow her to the Tendo Dojo. Seeing how hungry the pair are, the Tendos decide to take them in. However, the sisters then reveal that they're searching for their father, Soun Tendo!
